Technical reading
Filed in category: MeEver since I saw Gromit in The Wrong Trousers, I’ve known I’d be good at electronics and inventions. I don’t have Gromit’s book, Electronics for Dogs, but I found an alternative.

Will reading this make me a geek?
Our project is building a controller to give me a better chance of winning the slot car races. The standard controller is awkward for a teddy bear’s paws. If I’m going to make an important intellectual contribution to the project, I need to get up to speed on electronics.
I’ve already discovered one of the problems with a technical book: you don’t learn just by owning it, you also have to read it.
