One of the blogs I read is The Amazing World of Cuddly, a teddy bear who travels the world in rucksack class. He has great pictures using road signs to announce what he’s up to.

Following a link from his site I found out about the GeoBears project. Brave and adventurous teddy bears travel the world on behalf of a school class. Travellers are asked to take the bear along on their journeys, write postcards back to the class, hand the bear off to another traveller when they reach their destination and try to return the bear to school by the end of the school year. The travelling arrangements are hairy - a bear called Victor Westchester describes how he was stuck for weeks in a cupboard on a plane.
