I’m finding good stuff about bears in web sites and blogs but I’m also finding frequent problems with links in the sites I visit. The links originally pointed to more good stuff, but they don’t now.

• A link points to a missing page or site, so a 404 error or similar appears.
• A link points to something else. For example, the original site has disappeared and the webhosting service diplays a page of advertising.
• A link points to something unsuitable. The domain name has gone to new owners and the new content is not suitable for teddy bears.
